Largest Ever LEGO Ninjago Set Hits Shelves This June

WITH AN EXCITING NEW WAVE OF DRAGON-THEMED LEGO SETS ON THE WAY

New LEGO NINJAGO Range

LEGO are no stranger to colossal-sized sets, and now the popular, ever-enduring LEGO Ninjago theme is receiving its own brick behemoth in the form of the NINJAGO City Markets 71799, releasing on 1st June 2023 for VIP members and 4th June for general sale.

This new 4-floor LEGO set clocks in at 6163 brick pieces and a whopping 21 minifigures – it also carries a similarly big price tag at $369.99.

There’s plenty to catch the eye in this zany, colourful set, which should prove to be a hit with die-hard NINJAGO fans. Each of the four levels of the futuristic city is accessible by a fully operatable cable car which stops at two different stations. There are also numerous locations on show, including a restaurant, general store, blacksmith shop, bakery, Borg store and a rooftop food court with its own karaoke club, stage, and pool table.

The set is based on the NINJAGO Dragons Rising TV series and includes characters from the show in minifigure form, including Hounddog McBrag, Gayle Gossip, Urban Sora, Urban Arin and Detective Zane.

We would suggest combining the set with the previously released LEGO NINJAGO City Gardens 71741 model to create the ultimate NINJAGO city hub for exhibition and display.

What Other NINJAGO LEGO Sets Are Coming Out In 2023?

It’s not just the new Ninjago city-themed LEGO set on its way this June. Other upcoming releases include exciting mech-dragon-themed models such as the Heatwave Transforming Lava Dragon 71793, Sora’s Transforming Mech Bike Racer 71792 and the epic Elemental Dragon vs. The Empress Mech 71796 confrontation.

LEGO clearly believe that they are on to a winner with the themed series’ fourth expansion, and it’s hard to argue – who doesn’t love a dragon or two? Fans looking to expand their city landscape should also check out the Temple of the Dragon Energy Cores 71795 for a neat addition, or grab a futuristic vehicle or two in the form of the Destiny’s Bounty - race against time 71797 set or Kai and Ras’s Car and Bike Battle 71789.

If you’re looking for the best place to buy LEGO NINJAGO sets, head over to Zavvi, or the official LEGO Store to browse the selection of new and previous releases.
