August 2024 - Exclusive LEGO Gift With Purchases

A new month has arrived, bringing along fresh LEGO releases, sets, and GWPs. There is a lot to keep a look out for in August, but to start, LEGO has three Gift With Purchase promotions running from the 1st - 7th of August. Take a sneak peek below.

INTERGALACTIC GIFTS

LEGO 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad is the GWP when you spend over $200 on the official LEGO website or in-store. We did receive this as a Gift With Purchase in February 2024 (which you can read about here), but for those of you who may have missed this 325-piece gem, you have another chance to pick it up between August 1st and 7th, 2024.

LEGO 40712 is a homage to LEGO space sets released between 1978 and 1983. The set consists of four micro builds:

• The Space Station from Alpha Rocket Base (483)
• Rocket Launchpad
• The Spaceship from Space Patrol (6803)
• Rocket Transport Vehicle

Two micro-LEGO minifigures are included with the LEGO 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad. These cute little dudes are dressed in blue and white spacesuits as well as blue and white space helmets.

SWEET DREAMZZZ

Happy 1^st Birthday to the LEGO DREAMZzz theme - it seems like only yesterday that this theme was released. LEGO is offering two LEGO DREAMZzz GWPs with purchases over $50 on selected themes. The included themes are:

• LEGO City
• LEGO Friends
• LEGO DREAMZzz
• LEGO Harry Potter
• LEGO Ninjago

The GWPS available are LEGO 30660 Zoey's Dream Jet Pack Booster and LEGO 30636 Z-Blob and Bunchu Spider Escape. LEGO 30660 consists of 37 pieces and includes a Zoey Minifigure and a nightmare creature. LEGO 30636 has 44 pieces, Z-Blob, a cute blue bunny and Bunchu the Spider. These two polybags are perfect builds to help your little ones develop their imaginations through play.

TECHNIC TROPHY

The third LEGO GWP is available with purchases of LEGO 42172 Technic McLaren P1 and is for LEGO Insiders only. We received this earlier in the week; check out our review of it here: Building the LEGO Technic P1 McLaren Logo GWP - Sneak Peek.

This 178-piece LEGO GWP creates the P1 logo mounted on a black box. A handle on the side rotates the logo when turned, and a McLaren sign pops up and down. If you are a fan of the McLaren P1, then this LEGO Gift With Purchase is sure to get your motor running.
