Just Revealed: Marvel's Infinity Saga Iron Man Hulkbuster LEGO Set

Get ready for the biggest (and most expensive) LEGO Marvel set ever following the official announcement of the Hulkbuster (76210) set.

The new model is based on the Mark 44 armour, created by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner, first appearing in Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. In the film, the armour is eleven feet high, making it even taller than the Hulk. The new LEGO creative project pays tribute to the epic extra-heavy-duty-modular-armour, with a set that is over 52cm (20.5 inches) tall, containing 4,049 brick pieces. That is a big up-scale on the now-retired Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition (76105), which had 1,363 pieces.

One of the coolest features of this new movie colossus is the cockpit, specially designed to hold the LEGO Marvel Iron Man Figure (76206) released earlier this year. It is always exciting to see two LEGO sets combine, and it should make for some heroic display options for collectors"¦

$549.99 is a hefty price tag, although the new set is an appealing option for die-hard Marvel and Iron Man fans.
