The 1980s was a time of much coolness. Feeling the wind in your over-sprayed backcombed bouffant as you drive down the freeway with the top down, blasting out Wham and Madonna and getting home watching Miami Vice, ALF and MacGyver. Life was good, and the sports car industry was creating legendary vehicles, particularly the Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole.

Between 1985 and 1988, 610 of these iconic vehicles were produced. Their sleek silhouette was first revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in 1985. Countach began production in 1974 and was the innovator in the design of virtually every other supercar. The 5000 QV was the penultimate and, by far, the most popular rendition of this legendary vehicle.
The engine was given four valves per cylinder (hence the name Quattrovalvole, which means four valves in Italian). The various alterations to the engine enabled it to go from 0-60 in 4.1 seconds and attain a top speed of over 180 mph. Unfortunately for the US market, changes had to be made to Gandini's beautiful design to pass the new Federal Safety and Emissions regulations. This meant that the American spec included larger, energy-absorbing bumpers, which many owners removed or received their vehicles with no bumpers. The US version also had a Bosch K-Jetronic Fuel injection system fitted.
In homage to this epic piece of sports car history, we now have the chance to buy a toy replica of this car, the LEGO 10337 Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole.

You will be able to order the LEGO Icons Lamborghini Countach set from the official LEGO website from July 4th 2024 for general release, or July 1-3 for LEGO Insiders.
LEGO 10337 Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole is priced at $179.99.
There are 1,506 pieces in LEGO 10337 Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole - aimed at AFOLs with an interest in iconic and classic automotives.
There are no LEGO Minifigures included with LEGO 10337.

LEGO has used the 1,506 pieces to create an authentic replica of this 1980s Supercar and has captured many of its iconic features, including opening and closing scissor doors, a highly detailed V12 engine, deep-dish alloy wheels, and the large rear spoiler. LEGO 10337 will be a great addition to any car enthusiast's display. We think it will look great next to the LEGO 42143 Ferrari Daytona SP3 and LEGO 42115 Lamborghini Sián FKP 37.
