LEGO Avengers Doomsday: The Countdown Is On

The new LEGO Avengers Doomsday sets are scheduled to launch in the coming weeks, as fans count down to December 18th and the release of the long-awaited Marvel movie.

Officially the fifth Marvel Avengers movie, Doomsday follows Avengers Assemble (2012), Age of Ultron (2015), Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019). A further sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, is due to follow in 2027 to round off the Multiverse Saga.

As we move towards this much-anticipated movie, LEGO have announced a number of new LEGO Avengers Doomsday sets, with staggered release dates. Here's our look at some of the new LEGO Marvel sets coming in September and October.

LEGO Marvel Sets September 2026

We've chosen two new LEGO Marvel sets for September 2026, as well as the return of an old favourite - we'll look at the October 2026 LEGO Avengers sets below.

The awesome 379-piece LEGO Marvel Doctor Doom Bust (76345) features the villain of Avengers: Doomsday in all his brick-built glory. At 17 x 14 cm, it's a good fit for a LEGO bookcase display, especially with that slim 7cm depth.

LEGO Marvel Avengers Tower (76269) was first released in 2023 and came close to breaking several records. It's among the tallest Minifigure-scale buildings ever released, one of about 25 sets with over 5,000 pieces, and one of a handful with more than 30 Minifigures.

What's it doing in our list? Well, although it's not a new LEGO Avengers set for September 2026, it has been out of stock recently. Back-order it now and it's due to arrive by September 24th.

The release of Avengers: Doomsday in December is likely to reignite interest in this epic set, so it's the perfect time to get your hands on it, along with our Avengers Tower Display Case for LEGO 76269 with optional cityscape background print.

We're almost into spoiler territory with this one. LEGO Marvel Epic Battle: Avengers: Doomsday (76348) features a brick-built Sentinel figure over 25cm in height, with a battle-scene base that helps to add a sense of scale.

There are six LEGO Marvel Minifigures including Doctor Doom, Magneto, Thor, Nightcrawler, Mystique and Mister Fantastic, again hinting at characters we could see in the climactic scenes of the upcoming movie.

Attach the Minifigures using the provided transparent struts to give the illusion that they are flying around the Sentinel. We love a good dynamic LEGO display and with its name plaque and mini battle base, this build has a great sense of perspective and height.

Our second October 2026 LEGO Marvels Avengers set is the Doomsday Quinjet (76347), paying tribute to a vehicle that will be familiar to fans of the previous movies, or of the TV series Marvel's Agents of SHIELD.

No Agent Coulson in this set, but you do get an impressive four LEGO Marvel Minifigures including Doctor Doom, Cyclops, Captain America, and The Thing with extra-large fists. We're expecting to see the first Masters of the Universe Fisto Minifigure MOC by October 5th...

The Quinjet itself has a cockpit that opens to add a Minifigure pilot, two stud shooters on the front, and an interior accessed via the removable top and rear panels. We're happy to see a young target age on this set, as it's one you'll definitely want to play with.

Finally, we end our round-up with this adorable addition to the LEGO BrickHeadz theme. LEGO Marvel Avengers: Doomsday Heroes & Villain (40880) features a line-up including Gambit, Thor, The Thing and Doctor Doom.

We love BrickHeadz anyway, partly because they make Minifigures look like Ant-Man, but also because they pack so much personality in while somehow having a consistent aesthetic. The Thing is the stand-out figure in this set, with his irregular rocky head shape and bright blue Fantastic Four uniform.
