LEGO Pay Homage to An Amazing Tale Of Resilience With Set 10335

We wrote back in October about the alleged release of LEGO 10335, The Endurance for Black Friday, and LEGO has now officially confirmed the launch. Most of the speculation was on point, but now we have the official specs and price.

The 10335 LEGO Endurance ship will be released on Black Friday, 29^th November 2024.

HOW MUCH IS LEGO ICONS 10335 THE ENDURANCE?

LEGO ICONS 10335 The Endurance will cost $269.99 - a great price for a slice of history.

ARE THERE ANY LEGO MINIFIGURES INCLUDED WITH LEGO ICONS 10335 THE ENDURANCE?

There are no LEGO Minifigures included with LEGO Icons 10335 The Endurance however, if you're lucky enough to get your hands on the Gift with Purchase, Shackleton's Lifeboat (40729), it contains two minifigures:

• Sir Ernest Shackleton
• Frank Hurley (Shackleton's photographer)

HOW MANY PIECES ARE THERE IN LEGO ICONS 10335 THE ENDURANCE?

LEGO ICONS 10335 The Endurance has a bountiful 3,011 pieces and is aimed at AFOLs.

SET SAIL FOR ADVENTURE

LEGO 10335 is an impressive 80cm long brick-built rendition of an iconic vessel. The model sports ten full-fabric sails, a red ensign flag, and authentic rigging. The deck has multiple levels, which are connected via a staircase. Several sections are removable, allowing access to the port and starboard cabins as well as the engine room.

The front of the ship includes a chained bower anchor and the ship's wheel operates the rudder. There is a printed tile with The Endurance's specs that is displayed in front of the vessel. The Endurance is equipped with four lifeboats, one of which Shackleton used to embark on his mission to get help.

LEGO GWP - SHACKLETON'S LIFEBOAT

This historical event is reflected in the Gift With Purchase, LEGO 40729 Shackleton's Lifeboat. This GWP is certainly worth pursuing because it features two minifigures: Sir Ernest Shackleton and his photographer, Frank Hurley, while the main Endurance ship set does not include any.

Shackleton's Lifeboat comes with 232 pieces and includes many historically accurate accessories:

• Camera and tripod
• Sextant
• Stove
• Oars
• Sleigh
• Supply crate
• Two pickaxes
• Shovel
• Ice axe

The sleigh can be attached to the bottom of the lifeboat to convert it for ice travel. The top of the boat is also removable, allowing access to the interior. This GWP does a fantastic job of paying homage to a courageous and resilient explorer.
