Where does a wizard go in winter? LEGO Harry Potter Hogsmeade Village Collectors' Edition (76457) has the answer, with a festive-themed recreation of seven iconic locations in buildable brick form.
The snowy rooftops and the colourful streetlights and lanterns set the scene for a visit to the magical village - the only non-muggle settlement in Britain.

LEGO launched this set in early September, so there's no need to wait to get your hands on it. Start building today to have the perfect LEGO bookshelf display in time for Christmas!
And don't forget to pick up our LEGO Hogsmeade Village (Collectors' Edition) Display Case to keep the dust off your finished build.

First and foremost - this is a big build. Well over 3,000 pieces in 30 bags assemble to create seven distinct buildings along Hogsmeade Village's High Street.
It's designed to the same scale as previous top-end LEGO Harry Potter sets, including LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley (75978) and LEGO Gringotts Wizarding Bank (76417), so the chance to build a truly mammoth LEGO Harry Potter display is growing all the time.

The set is constructed in three sections, each with its own building instructions manual, and connected by cobblestone pathways. It's fully modular - and can be connected with other LEGO Harry Potter Modular Buildings.
Some of the premises included in the build are:

You also get a line-up of 12 LEGO Harry Potter Minifigures: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Professor McGonagall, Aberforth Dumbledore, Katie Bell, Draco Malfoy, Cornelius Fudge, Mrs Flume, Horace Slughorn, Madam Rosmerta and Shop Staff.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has its own distinct visual style and beneath those snow-capped rooftops, there are crooked chimneys and wonky windows that bring that aesthetic to life perfectly.

Every door in Hogsmeade Village can open, and inside each building, there's a fully detailed interior with LEGO elements and accessories such as Butterbeer, Exploding Bonbons, Sneakoscopes and a Remembrall.
As you reach the end of the build (if you've done each section in order), you'll complete the roof of Zonko's Joke Shop before adding the streetlight and newsstand out front - two final finishing touches that highlight just how intricately detailed this LEGO Hogsmeade High Street build really is.
As always, the 18+ Adults Welcome tag is a sign that this is primarily a LEGO display set and involves some slightly more fiddly building techniques.

The finished build's depth of 14cm is another indication of this, and it's ideal for a bookshelf display where the front of the shops can take the spotlight.
It's not a hugely interactive set and the smaller shops' interiors are quite simple, although this leaves room for your Minifigures to fit inside. There's still plenty of potential for imaginative roleplay and acting out scenes from the books and movies, though.
An extra-nice detail is that the central section of the street, The Three Broomsticks, has 24 windows - making it work as an unofficial LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar!

Let's take a last look at some of the main highlights of this highly detailed LEGO Harry Potter display set...

And if you're building the modular LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle set, remember that Hogsmeade Village has several secret tunnels connecting it to Hogwarts, including:
Although these passageways are not included in the builds, they're a perfect excuse to display the finished set alongside LEGO Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall (76435) or the recent LEGO Harry Potter Room of Requirement GWP (40770).
Either way, Hogsmeade Village deserves centre stage, so make sure you show it off at its best inside our made-to-measure LEGO Harry Potter Hogsmeade Village Collectors' Edition Display Case.
