LEGO Dinosaur Fossils Tyrannosaurus rex (76968) is an extremely high-quality set aimed at adult builders, with plenty of features that make it perfect for display purposes.

At an impressive 1:12 scale, the finished model stands over a foot tall, with posable joints in the head, jaw, arms and tail. The intricate design of the full fossilised skeleton makes for a real talking point.

In addition to the T-Rex itself, there are LEGO Minifigures of Jurassic Park's OG palaeontologists, Dr Alan Grant and Dr Ellie Sattler.

There are also some cute references to key moments from the film franchise, such as the mosquito trapped in amber or the frogs used to "fill in the holes" in the dino DNA.

A nice touch on this set is the option to display it with or without its printed information plaque. With the plaque removed, the support frame looks like that's how it was always supposed to be, with no awkward visible mounting pin holes left behind.
