If you're a child of the 1970s-80s, there's a good chance that LEGO and Transformers were top of your Christmas wish list. With five fantastic sets to choose from, LEGO Transformers can top your list once again in 2025, no matter what age you are.
These are stunning builds that deserve to be seen. So it's less a case of robots in disguise, and more a case of robots on display! To help you do that, we've created custom display cases for LEGO Transformers sets, with bespoke vinyl backgrounds to show the model at its best.
Here are the five LEGO Transformers sets currently available. We'd love to see more in the future - which character do you want to get the brick-built treatment next?

The most recent entry on this list is LEGO Transformers Soundwave (10358), which launched on August 1st 2025. It's an incredibly clever 2-in-1 model which, like the Decepticon character, can stand as a figure in robot mode or transform into a micro cassette recorder WITHOUT the need to rebuild the LEGO.
A pair of brick-built audio cassettes comes with LEGO Transformers 10358, and these transform too, to become Soundwave's sidekicks Ravage and Laserbeak. We're so happy that this set includes a LEGO sound brick, which plays a selection of Soundwave sound bites.
You can show off Soundwave, Ravage, Laserbeak and the set's display plaque in our LEGO Transformers Soundwave Display Case for LEGO 10358. This stunning case is constructed in high-grade clear acrylic and features an optional printed vinyl backdrop with Soundwave's name across the top.

LEGO Transformers Bumblebee (10338) is next on our list, and again, iDisplayit has a bespoke LEGO display case for Bumblebee. This is made to measure for the loyal Autobot to stand proud in robot-figure form, with his information plaque by his feet. There is also a custom vinyl background for this case, with Bumblebee's name up top and a digital grid design that matches the LEGO Transformers Soundwave display case.
Bumblebee - officially called B-127 on his home planet of Cybertron - is one of the best-loved Transformers ever, with his own movie and a cult following of die-hard fans. Like Soundwave, this super-smart set can transform (without rebuilding) between Bee's robot form and his vehicle disguise inspired by the VW Beetle.
There are so many ways to display LEGO Transformers 10338. This line of matching custom LEGO display cases means you can pair it with the LEGO Soundwave set mentioned above, or with LEGO Transformers Optimus Prime (10302), which we'll look at below. The three look absolutely fantastic side by side - and you can add the LEGO Transformers BrickHeadz Bumblebee and/or Optimus Prime sets to complete your collection!

The noble leader of the Autobots, resplendent in red, white and blue livery, LEGO Transformers Optimus Prime (10302) is a must-have for fans of the series. Once again, he is a 2-in-1 model that can be displayed as a standing robot figure or transformed into a Freightliner FL86 semi truck.
It's only right that Optimus is the tallest of the three sets at about 35cm, and there is a custom LEGO display case for Transformers Optimus Prime 10302 that allows him to stand at full height. Of course, there's room for the display plaque, as well as this set's accessories: an ion blaster, Energon axe, Energon cube, jetpack and Autobot Matrix of Leadership.
With another bespoke printed vinyl backdrop, this completes the set of matching custom display cases for LEGO Transformers sets. And if you'd prefer to keep Optimus on show in truck mode, there is an Optimus Prime Truck Display Case available that's exactly the right size too.

So far, there are two LEGO Transformers BrickHeadz sets to add to your bookshelf display. A nice touch with both of these is that they feature one character in both figure and vehicle forms, so you don't have to choose - you can have both versions on show at once inside a custom LEGO BrickHeadz display cases for 2x BrickHeadz.
LEGO BrickHeadz Optimus Prime Robot & Vehicle (40803) is ridiculously cute, and it's impressive to see the iconic BrickHeadz aesthetic applied to a robot and a truck. Both have distinctive exaggerated features, but are instantly recognisable as Optimus Prime. Both also proudly display the Autobots logo on their side, and it's no surprise that this set scores a solid five stars from customer reviews on the LEGO website.

Finally on our list is the LEGO BrickHeadz Bumblebee Robot & Vehicle (40804) set we mentioned earlier. This too can be shown off at its best in an acrylic display case for 2x LEGO BrickHeadz, with Bee's robot form and VW Beetle disguise side by side.
The bright yellow colour scheme on this set makes it one of the most vibrant you're likely to lay eyes on. We think it's a top contender for any LEGO Transformers display, especially when exhibited alongside the bigger and more detailed LEGO Transformers Bumblebee (10338) in standing robot figure form.
As more months pass, we wonder when the next character will be added to the LEGO Transformers line-up - and who it might be. An obvious contender is the Decepticon leader Megatron, who would no doubt look like an imposing figure along with his lieutenant, Soundwave.
If the LEGO Transformers theme is going to get more sidekicks, the leading choices would probably be Jazz for the Autobots and the ruthless Decepticon Starscream. But with the entire series to choose from, the LEGO designers could opt for characters that make the most interesting and exciting builds.
