Record-Breaking LEGO Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer UCS (75457) Coming October 1st

Record-Breaking LEGO Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer UCS (75457) Coming October 1st

A new flagship is about to join the LEGO Star Wars theme, ahead of the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon Ultimate Collector Series (75192) retirement on December 31st.

LEGO Insiders will have access from October 1st, with a general release date of October 4th for the new LEGO Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer Ultimate Collector Series (75457).

With well over 6,000 pieces, it's a massive set - in fact by our count, it's the longest single LEGO set ever, beating the huge LEGO Titanic by a single centimetre.

Here's what you should know about the LEGO Executor Super Star Destroyer UCS (75457), which is about to drop out of hyperspace into a LEGO store near you.

LEGO Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer (75457)

Price: $799.99

Release Date: October 4th 2026 (LEGO Insiders Early Access October 1st-3rd)

Ages: 18+

Pieces: 6,130

LEGO Minifigures: 7

LEGO Insiders Points: 5,200

Size: 20 x 136 x 50 cm (H x L x W)

We have to start with the length. Our longest custom LEGO display case ever is the 140cm Titanic Display Case for LEGO 10294 with an interior dimension of 138cm.

Our second-longest made-to-measure LEGO display case is actually our 132cm UCS Super Star Destroyer Display Case for LEGO 10221 with interior space of 130cm. This was built to fit the previous LEGO Executor UCS set, which was available in 2011-14.

Both of those are about to be overtaken by LEGO Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer UCS (75457) which beats the LEGO Titanic by 1cm in length. We're gonna need a bigger box!

The good news is, we're working on it - and our longest LEGO display case ever will be ready soon.

LEGO ESSD Minifigures

A Bounty of LEGO Star Wars Minifigures

Another unique claim of the new LEGO Executor UCS 75457 is its line-up of LEGO Star Wars Minifigures.

There's LEGO Minifigure Darth Vader, which feels like a must for any LEGO Executor build. The remaining six Minifigures are - for the first time in a single set - all six bounty hunters featured in 1980's Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.

In total, the LEGO Star Wars Executor UCS 75457 includes:

  • LEGO Star Wars Minifigure Darth Vader
  • LEGO Star Wars Minifigure Boba Fett
  • LEGO Star Wars Minifigure Dengar
  • LEGO Star Wars Minifigure Bossk
  • LEGO Star Wars Minifigure IG-88
  • LEGO Star Wars Minifigure 4-LOM
  • LEGO Star Wars Minifigure Zuckuss

For once, we think it's worth splitting up your LEGO Minifigure display for this set, as follows:

Alternatively, if you're adding the seven LEGO Star Wars Minifigures to the rest of your collection, you'll want our Star Wars LEGO Minifigures Wall Display Case with room for up to 128 Minifigures plus the LEGO Star Wars Logo (75407) which is also still available to buy.

LEGO ESSD 1

A Fascinating Build

The iconic arrowhead-shaped Executor poses some unique challenges as a LEGO build, with sharp angles and smooth surfaces. We love the attention to detail that's been poured into this set, from the towers and turrets on top, to the gorgeous red-orange thrusters at the rear.

There's a brick-built display stand and info plaque, as usual for LEGO builds of this scale. There's also a small interior 'bridge' scene to show the seven Minifigure characters meeting for the first time - this is fine, but we wish it would have been a bit more detailed.

Our favourite addition has to be the to-scale Star Destroyer to highlight the enormous length of the 19km (12-mile) Super Star Destroyer. It's inadvertently adorable, and we love it.

LEGO Darth Vader Lightsaber

LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader's Lightsaber GWP (40897)

Available: October 1st-7th when you buy LEGO 75457

Ages: 18+

Pieces: 174

Size: 23 x 8 x 7 cm (L x W x D)

Finally, if you buy LEGO Star Wars Executor 75457 between October 1st - 7th, you'll also get a LEGO Star Wars GWP direct from the Dark Side.

LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader's Lightsaber GWP (40897) is a 174-piece build of the Sith Lord's Lightsaber hilt, as used in his battles against Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker.

If you already own 2024's LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker's Lightsaber GWP (40730) this is the perfect opportunity to pair the Jedi Master's weapon with the Dark Lord's version.

LEGO Darth Vader's Lightsaber GWP (40897) includes a brick-built display stand and nameplate, and each set should fit perfectly in our 26 x 10 x 10cm display case.

How to Display It

We've already touched on this above, but if you're getting your hands on the new LEGO Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer UCS this autumn, here's our suggestion to create the most eye-catching LEGO Star Wars display:

Optional extras:

Put the three together, along with the info plaque and teeny tiny Star Destroyer, and you'll have a LEGO Star Wars display case you can be proud of, while keeping any bedroom dust far, far away.

What do you think of the LEGO Executor UCS 2026? Is it worthy of the LEGO length record?
