Today We Are Talking Trailers - LEGO 60440 LEGO City Yellow Delivery Truck

LEGO has delivered another classic yellow truck, with their latest announcement of the upcoming 60440 LEGO City Delivery Truck set. This is a super new addition to the line of delivery trucks already available and we can't wait to get our hands on it.

It's been a while since we had a delivery truck similar to this; by our recollections, it was back in June 2010 when we got LEGO 3221 LEGO City LEGO Truck. We were spoilt back then because, at the tail end of June 2010, LEGO also released LEGO 7848 LEGO City Toys "R" Us Truck. 

Both sets had large trailers with doors on the sides as well as at the rear of the trailer. The LEGO 3221 yellow vehicle included two LEGO Minifigures, whereas the Toys "R" Us set came with three LEGO Minifigures alongside a miniature Toys "R" Us shop complete with toys.

DELIVERY TRUCK FEATURES

LEGO 60440 LEGO City Yellow Delivery Truck is a great set for ages 8 and up. The cab has a removable roof so the driver can chill after their deliveries. There are many deliveries to complete, as several pallets can be piled high with the boxes of LEGO sets.

The forklift truck is functional, so it can be used to aid the LEGO Minifigures in loading and unloading the trailer. Once all the hard work is over, the LEGO Minifigures can grab a hotdog and soda from the hotdog stand; there's even a menu board advertising the options and prices.
