iDisplayit's 20th Anniversary Photo Competition

Every collection has a story. It might be the LEGO set you wanted as a kid, a favorite character you've collected in every form, a model you've spent years searching for, or simply a collection that has grown one piece at a time. Whatever you're collecting, there's usually a reason those particular pieces ended up on your shelves.

And that's what makes a display so much more than a place to put things. It's a snapshot of what you love, the things you've discovered along the way and the collections you've built over time. For our 20th anniversary, we're celebrating those stories with our Every Display Tells a Story photo competition.

Show Us Your Display

We want to see the collections you're proud of and the displays you've created to enjoy them. Your entry could feature a much-loved LEGO build, a collection of figures, a favorite model or something completely different. What matters is the story behind it and what makes it worth displaying.

Entering is easy, and you can enter up to three times. Share your photo on Facebook or Instagram, tag @idisplayit where applicable and use #loveprotectdisplay to enter.

Voting is open until 23:59 GMT on 31 August 2026. The three entries with the most votes will then go through to our judging panel, who will choose the overall winner. And, because it's our 20th anniversary, we've got £100/$100 to spend at iDisplayit up for grabs.

As the competition gets underway, you can browse the entries and see what other collectors have chosen to put on display. We're looking forward to seeing everything from carefully curated collections to displays that have grown naturally over years of collecting, and finding out what makes each one special.

If a collection catches your eye, give it a vote. You might discover a new favorite set, find an idea for your own display or simply enjoy seeing how another collector has brought their collection together.

There can only be one overall winner, but we know there will be plenty of collections worth celebrating along the way.

20 Years of iDisplayit

Celebrating 20 years gives us plenty to look back on, but it's also a great opportunity to look at what makes displaying collections so enjoyable in the first place. Over the years, we've seen collections grow from a handful of favorite pieces into impressive displays, watched new themes and characters become collector favorites, and seen people find increasingly creative ways to enjoy the things they've collected.
