Once they're gone, they're gone - discover an epic collection of LEGO sets from a variety of themes, including IDEAS, ICONS, Architecture, Disney and more. There are over 300 soon-to-retire LEGO sets listed on the LEGO website, meaning they will become sought-after collectibles before you know it. So, grab them while you can.
LEGO will almost never bring back a set once it's retired, save for the occasional release or reimagined set years later, so this is your last opportunity to collect these must-have LEGO models.
LEGO sets marked for retirement have reached the end of their production lifecycle (EOL). Typically, these sets are available for a limited period before they sell out and are no longer produced.
Head over to the LEGO website for a LEGO retiring guide list for 2023, which confirms all the sets ending their run this year.
This is a matter of opinion, but some of our favourite large-scale LEGO models to display are on the list. If you don't own any of these, we recommend you snap them up.

Sometimes, you may get very lucky and find a large retailer who still has a few boxes left in their warehouse, which find their way onto shelves after the sets sell out online. But most of the time, you'll have to visit resale websites such as eBay and Brick Link.
Typically, LEGO releases are available for 1-3 years before retiring, though popular models such as The UCS Millennium Falcon and Disney Castle often remain around for much longer.
