Have you ever imagined crowd-surfing on hundreds of LEGO Minifigures while they serenade you with a brick-based cover version of the 1984 Lionel Richie power ballad 'Hello'?
If your answer is 'yes', then the LEGO 2025 Christmas ad could be just the thing, as it features a choir of LEGO Minifigures putting play back into the heart and mind of 12-year-old Eddie, to free him from the silence and solitude of his bedroom.

LEGO has described the holiday campaign as "a heartfelt tribute to the importance of creative play and its ability to strengthen family bonds during the holidays" and it's hard to argue with that.

The 2025 LEGO Christmas advert starts with Eddie retreating to his bedroom, fixated on his phone, while his sister builds the final bricks on Cataclaws, the festive feline fixture of LEGO Christmas ad campaigns in recent years.
Once complete, Cataclaws comes to life - and Eddie's collection of LEGO Minifigures soon follows, starting with the ominous line "I've been alone with you inside my mind" sung by LEGO Darth Vader.

This is followed by a more light-hearted line: "In your dreams you've stepped on me a thousand times!" as more Minifigures join the choir.
Soon, Eddie is swept out of bed on a tidal wave of moving Minifigures, who carry him back to the living room to help his family put the finishing touches to a truly epic LEGO Christmas display.
There are literally hundreds of LEGO Minifigures in the 2025 LEGO Christmas advert, plucked from sets across the product range and from many different themes.

Some of the themes that make an appearance include:

Among the choir are some of the most familiar faces, such as:
...and hundreds more. Can you spot your favourite Minifigure's face in the crowd?

Just five master builders worked to construct the main stage featured in the LEGO 2025 Christmas commercial, which was produced by Our LEGO Agency and directed by Steve Ayson.
The advert contains in total:
Look out for the smoke dragons, train station and disco helicopters in amongst the impressively detailed final scene of the ad, which was brought to life with a little extra magic from animation studio beEpic.
Remi Marcelli, senior vice-president of global brand development from the LEGO Group, said: "With our playful twist on a classic tune we're asking families, 'Is it play you're looking for?'

"This campaign is a celebration of the joy and connection that play brings. We hope to inspire families everywhere to embrace their creativity and share special moments that will last a lifetime."
With the 2025 LEGO Christmas campaign underway, there are already some seasonal special editions to get your hands on.
Look out for the limited edition seasonal Christmas Minifigures in the LEGO Minifigure Factory.
This includes holiday-themed torsos to choose when building a custom LEGO Minifigure between now and Christmas.

If you're working on a LEGO Christmas display or you want to add more passengers to the LEGO Icons Holiday Express Train (10361), this is the perfect opportunity!
Speaking of the Holiday Express Train, it's one of the two new LEGO Christmas sets to launch in recent weeks.
The 956-piece set features a working locomotive that pulls toy-filled carriages around a circular track, and makes an excellent table centrepiece or Christmas tree skirt.

Alternatively, there's the LEGO Icons Family Christmas Tree (41843), which is another fantastic LEGO Christmas table centrepiece and opens to reveal four interior rooms.
With LEGO Minifigure Santa Claus and Mrs Claus, plus five elves, a reindeer figure, snowman and reindeer plushie elements and a brick-built mini Cataclaws, there are plenty of ways to bring your build to life.

Finally, to coincide with the launch of the 2025 LEGO Christmas campaign, LEGO Insiders had the chance to win their wishlist up to $1,000.
