LEGO Millennium Falcon (75192) Retiring Soon: When, Why and What Next?

Last chance to buy the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon UCS (75192) before it heads to the big Kessel Run in the sky.

If the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon Ultimate Collector Series (75192) is on your 2026 holiday LEGO wish list, this is your last chance to own this iconic set.

The LEGO Millennium Falcon UCS (75192) launched way back in 2017, the same year Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released, and it has been one of the most coveted sets ever since.

But all good things come to an end, and LEGO Star Wars 75192 is due to reach the end of its proverbial Kessel Run on December 31st 2026.

Here's what we know, what we suspect, and what this means for the future of the LEGO Star Wars theme's flagship set...

Retirin' of the Jedi

Before we go any further, let's get a quick reminder of the specifications of LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon UCS:

LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon UCS (75192)

Price: $849.99

Release Date: Available Now (Retiring December 31st 2026)

Ages: 16+

Pieces: 7,541

LEGO Minifigures: 7 (plus BB-8, buildable Mynock and 2x Porgs)

LEGO Insiders Points: 5,525

Size: 21 x 84 x 60 cm (H x L x W)

The price, the piece count and the finished build size make the LEGO Millennium Falcon UCS a true showstopper. It's nearly three feet long, two feet wide, over 7,500 pieces, and costs $849.99 (that's £734.99 in the UK and €849.99 in Europe).

We appreciate the mix of classic-era and sequel-trilogy LEGO Star Wars Minifigures. From the original 1970s-80s trilogy, there's LEGO Minifigure Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and C-3PO. From the 2010s, there's Older Han Solo, Rey and Finn.

There's also a BB-8 figure, two brick-built Porgs and a brick-built Mynock. It's not the biggest cast for a set of this size and price tag, but it's more than you'd get with some LEGO vehicle displays.

The Falcon Menace

The LEGO Millennium Falcon has always been a pipe dream for collectors - that one set everyone wants, but not everyone can get.

Part of the problem is how often this set gets a total update, complete with a new set number:

• 2000: LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon (7190)
• 2004: LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon (4504)
• 2007: LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon (10179)
• 2011: LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon (7965)
• 2015: LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon (75105)
• 2017: LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon UCS (75192)
• 2018: LEGO Star Wars Kessel Run Millennium Falcon (75212)
• 2019: LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon (75257)
• 2024: LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon 25th Anniversary (75375)
• 2024: LEGO Star Wars The Dark Falcon (75389)

There have been another five smaller builds not listed here: LEGO 4488, 7778, 75030, 75193 and 75295. It's fair to say this is a vehicle that gets updated often, and it's no coincidence that both Collector's Series Millennium Falcon LEGO sets so far were released in years ending with a 7.

A New Hope?

If there is hope of a new LEGO Millennium Falcon 2027 edition, it doesn't just come from the previous sets' release dates. It's also because the original Star Wars movie hit theaters in 1977, making next year the 50th anniversary of the ultimate space saga.

We're unlikely to see a new set on January 1st - which means there will almost certainly be a time with no LEGO UCS Millennium Falcon in production. Instead, the most likely release date is around Friday October 1st 2027 for LEGO Insiders, followed by a general release on Monday October 4th.

There's even a rumored set number for the 2027 LEGO Millennium Falcon UCS (75487) but we'll have to wait and see whether this is correct or not.

The Empire Strikes Brick

In the meantime, LEGO Star Wars collectors have a new flagship model to build and display - and it's a biggie.

LEGO Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer (75457) entered our galaxy on October 1st 2026 for LEGO Insiders and October 4th for everyone else. It's a $799.99 set with 6,130 pieces and a Titanic-beating length of 136cm.
