LEGO Restaurants of the World: Greece 40908: A Taste of the Mediterranean

The LEGO Restaurants of the World collection is back with another compact build inspired by food, travel and architecture. Following the Japanese restaurant and Mexican taqueria, the latest addition takes us to the Mediterranean with LEGO Restaurants of the World: Greece 40908.

This little Greek taverna packs a surprising amount of character into just 254 pieces, with whitewashed walls, colorful details, a traditional taverna sign and even a large fish perched on the roof. There’s also a LEGO Minifigure, making this more than just a piece of shelf decor.

If you’re already collecting the Restaurants of the World series, Greece is an easy one to add to the lineup. And if this is your first set from the collection, it’s a great introduction to the compact restaurant builds LEGO has been putting together.

A Little Greek Taverna

The whitewashed walls of the restaurant immediately bring to mind the buildings found across Santorini and other Mediterranean destinations, giving the model a distinctly Greek feel. The traditional taverna sign adds to the setting, while the large fish perched on the roof is an especially fun detail that catches your eye.

There are plenty of smaller touches to discover too, including a brick-built guitar, coffee cup and kitten. The set also includes a LEGO Minifigure, adding a little life to the restaurant and making the finished build feel more like a miniature scene than simply a building.

Another Stop Around the World

The appeal of the Restaurants of the World collection is seeing how LEGO interprets a different destination with each release. Following Japan and Mexico, Greece brings a very different architectural style and color palette to the lineup.

Whether you have all three or are just starting with Greece, it adds another distinct setting to the collection, with details like the taverna sign, rooftop fish and Mediterranean-style exterior giving it plenty of character of its own. It’s a fun continuation of the series and another destination to add to your LEGO restaurant collection. LEGO has confirmed that the Restaurants of the World collection will include four sets throughout 2026, so there’s still one more restaurant to look forward to after Greece.

The Restaurants of the World: Greece GWP is available until August 20th, 2026, giving collectors a limited window to pick up the latest addition to the series.
