We have skulls, skeletons and pumpkins, the launch of the new LEGO Midnight Valley Collection, and the brand-new LEGO Wednesday Nevermore Academy (76788). LEGO Wednesday Addams fans should read to the end, as we have a bonus item for you...

What could be more iconic than a LEGO Halloween Jack-o-Lantern that actually lights up? The LEGO Halloween Pumpkin Lantern (40872) is amazing value and includes a LEGO Light Brick, plus a sheet ghost LEGO Minifigure and a spooky spider element too.
The windowsill-sized build makes a perfect LEGO Halloween display. The LEGO pumpkin's exterior is bright orange with olive green details, while the inside is bright yellow to help it light up even brighter.
A lot of love has gone into this set. Despite its small piece count, it does a great job of recreating the unique shape of a pumpkin. We love that the LEGO Minifigure Ghost glows in the dark and can be mounted in a 'flying' position to the back of the pumpkin.
The best feature is obviously the LEGO Light Brick, which inserts into the interior of the LEGO Jack-o-Lantern and lights up when you press down on the pumpkin's stalk. But if you remove the Light Brick, you could replace it with a set of LED bottle lights or an LED tealight (not a real candle, for obvious reasons!) to light the pumpkin's mischievous face your own way.
A child-friendly age rating and a super-affordable price makes this a really impressive option if you're planning a LEGO Halloween display this year - and a pair of LEGO Pumpkins would look great at either end of a LEGO bookshelf display.

Even more of a bargain than the LEGO Pumpkin is LEGO Halloween Skull Candle (40883). A shade over 200 pieces for less than $20, it's a perfect project for families as part of your Spooky Season festivities.
We're not sure of the inspiration behind this set, but it's full of character. The centerpiece is a brick-built skull with a gold tooth and glow-in-the-dark eyes. A cobweb and spider elements adorn the sides of the build, while a spilled potion at the base is said to be bringing the skull back to life.
A black candle with an orange flame sits on top of the skull, with melted wax trickling down the side. While there's no Light Brick this time, there's a spare set of eyes, so you can choose between a vivid green in daylight, or those glow-in-the-dark eyes for nighttime.
For the price, this is another fantastic set, and would pair perfectly with the pumpkin. It would also make a great table decoration if you're planning a haunted Halloween feast!

This is a change of pace from the child-friendly LEGO Pumpkin and LEGO Skull Candle sets. LEGO Ideas La Catrina (21372) was one of the record-breaking SIX LEGO Ideas selected to go forward to a full production run - appropriately enough, in October 2025.
The suggested design by Jose Miguel Medina Perez, aka Yop1172, stood three feet tall with nearly 3,000 bricks. That's been halved to make a 43cm figure with just over 1,200 pieces, while the color scheme is much more black-dominated, with purple, orange, blue and green accents.
We're on board with those design decisions - and so are fans, with LEGO.com builder reviews calling the set stunning, "absolutely gorgeous" and calling for a matching male 'Catrin' figure to stand alongside LEGO La Catrina.
The build itself is a reference to Mexican Day of the Dead culture, with a skeletal figure in a long dress and hat, decorated with marigolds and sugar skull elements, and accompanied by monarch butterflies.
With posable head and arms, LEGO La Catrina gives you plenty of ways to customize your LEGO Halloween display, and we think that 43cm height is about right for a versatile LEGO windowsill display or table centerpiece alike.

Moving on from LEGO table displays and we're intrigued by LEGO Icons Mayor Manor (11383), which launched on September 1st.
It has all the appearance of a play set, but a suggested builder age of 18+. It's also the first in a new series, the LEGO Midnight Valley Collection, which has been designed specifically for adults.
This could be because of the asymmetrical build and intricate details, which may suit older and more experienced builders. But the three glow-in-the-dark LEGO Minifigures, plus the cat and rat elements, add definite playability to the finished set.
Inside, there's a decorated two-story interior with a fireplace, table and chairs, grandfather clock, suit of armor, bookshelf and wall-hanging paintings. It may be an Adults Welcome LEGO set, but the kids are gonna love it.
We think the Midnight Valley Collection is going to be the Halloween equivalent of the LEGO Winter Village, with a new collectible LEGO set launched each year that builds up to a ghostly town over time - making this first set potentially a great investment, too.

LEGO Minifigures: 1 (Wednesday Addams) plus Wednesday and Enid Microfigures
LEGO Insiders Points: 455
Size: 17 x 21 x 19 cm (H x W x D)
Similar in style, but aimed at a younger audience, LEGO Wednesday Nevermore Academy (76788) ticks a lot of boxes. A mid-range price point and a medium piece count are a good fit for young builders, but the finished build has an open back for easy access to the principal's office, dorm room, music room and other Microfigure-scale interiors.
The set includes Wednesday Addams and Enid LEGO Microfigures AND the first-ever LEGO Minifigure Wednesday, which you can display alongside the finished school. A drawer in the brick-built base gives you just enough room to store the Microfigures and their accessories, or other notes and tiny trinkets.
Children love hidden 'secret' spaces - they're also a feature of the new LEGO Wednesday Backpack (76787), which is our bonus item below. So the LEGO Nevermore Academy (76788) should have plenty of appeal.
If you have kids of the right age, why not get LEGO Nevermore Academy for them and LEGO Mayor Manor for yourself? The similar aesthetics and different difficulty levels make them a great pairing for a family build day.

LEGO Minidolls: 1 (Wednesday) plus Thing figure
LEGO Insiders Points: 292
Size: 19 x 15 x 8 cm (H x W x D)
We had to include a bonus sixth item on our list, and it's a really quirky build for children aged 9 and above. LEGO Wednesday Backpack (76787) offers more than meets the eye, and makes an interesting bit of LEGO wall decor with its black backpack and creeping purple flowers.
Open it up though, and there's a miniature dorm room play area, where the included LEGO Minidoll Wednesday can play her cello while Thing can ride its roller skate.
The most intriguing part of this set is the backpack's storage space. Below the mini dorm room scene, there's actual places to stash small items, with a flat space for keeping photos, drawings and other important papers.
Overall, it makes the LEGO Wednesday Addams Backpack into a kind of secret journal where private thoughts and little trinkets can be kept, which we think will appeal to a lot of young builders - and makes it a worthy bonus item on our list of the top 5 LEGO Halloween 2026 sets!
