6 Summer LEGO Sets that Prove Life's a Beach!

If you're working on a LEGO Summer display for 2026, here's our pick of six starter sets to help you set the scene...

There's nothing better than building a LEGO set on a sunny summer day - or as a rainy-day activity for kids if the weather is a washout.

Either way, we've picked out six summer LEGO sets that are sure to put the sunshine in your day, including two brand new LEGO sets for summer 2026!

1. LEGO City Classic Beach Streetcar (60506)

Price: $74.99

Release Date: June 1st 2026 (Available Now)

Ages: 7+

Pieces: 693

LEGO Minifigures: 5

LEGO Insiders Points: 487

Size: 9 x 22 x 6cm (H x L x W)

What a fantastic set to start our list of LEGO summertime builds! LEGO City Classic Beach Streetcar (60506) is a summery seaside tram that trundles up to a beach scene and wooden fishing pier.

It's incredibly cute and suitable for builders as young as 7, with plenty of playability. Five LEGO Minifigures (including a tram driver with a cochlear implant) can all board the streetcar at once, or enjoy a cornet from the ice cream cart.

Even more seaside wildlife adds to the interactivity, including seal, crab and fish figures, an adorable pug and a pigeon.

But the L-gauge LEGO streetcar itself is bound to appeal to older builders too. We've already seen Insta Reels by builders who have motorized their LEGO Beach Streetcar so it can zoom around a longer LEGO train track.

We've also seen this set listed as LEGO City Classic Beach Tram (60506) so if there's any confusion, just check the set number to be sure.

2. LEGO Disney Beach Fun with Lilo & Stitch (43280)

Price: $19.99

Release Date: June 1st 2026 (Available Now)

Ages: 4+

Pieces: 113

LEGO Minifigures: 2 (Lilo & Stitch)

LEGO Insiders Points: 130

Size: 9 x 23 x 9cm (H x W x D)

There's plenty more chilled treats on display in LEGO Disney Beach Fun with Lilo & Stitch (43280) which is another new LEGO set for summer 2026.

A sand-coloured base sets the scene for a surf shop, shaved ice stall, a rocket ride, a small stage and a slide. You get LEGO Minifigures of both Lilo and Stitch, plus accessories including two shaved ice cones, a surfboard, flippers, lifebelt, guitar, cup and cash register.

This child-friendly build is aimed at kids as young as 4, with clear, easy-to-follow assembly instructions. You get the Minifigures early in the build too, so youngsters can start to play with their set even before it's completed.

For less than £20, there's a lot of value in this set, with LEGO Disney Minifigures of both title characters and several different scenarios to play out. And at just 9cm deep, the beach section should make an excellent LEGO bookshelf display too.

3. LEGO Disney Lilo and Stitch Beach House (43268)

Price: $89.99

Release Date: March 1st 2025 (Available Now)

Ages: 9+

Pieces: 834

LEGO Minifigures: 5

LEGO Insiders Points: 585

Size: 17 x 35 x 14cm (H x W x D)

If you want a more detailed build, 2025's LEGO Disney Lilo and Stitch Beach House (43268) continues the summer theme with plenty of references to the movie.

LEGO Disney Minifigures in this set include Lilo, Stitch, Nani, David and Mr Bubbles. You also get Lilo's doll Scrump, plus two surfboards, a pickle jar, record player, and a brick-built spaceship!

The much higher piece count means this build is for ages 9+ but we think it would be an awesome LEGO bedroom display for younger Lilo & Stitch fans. Our display case for LEGO 43268 adds to the aesthetic with an optional printed beach background and floor.

4. LEGO Friends Family Vacation Beach Resort (42673)

Price: $129.99

Release Date: June 1st 2025 (Available Now)

Ages: 8+

Pieces: 1,140

LEGO Minidolls: 6

LEGO Insiders Points: 845

Size: 18 x 45 x 24cm (H x W x D)

One of the biggest summer LEGO sets of 2025, LEGO Friends Family Vacation Beach Resort (42673) is likely to retire at the end of 2026 - and it's a colourful scene that's absolutely packed with details.

You get six LEGO Minidolls to play with, a busy beach scene, and imaginative play features like a metal detector accessory, brick-built pedalo, snorkels and surfboards. There's a slide, an ice cream stand, a fire pit, and a hidden turtle's cave.

It's fun that the designers of LEGO Friends 42673 included removable sand elements, allowing you to bury treasure, or even to partially bury a Minidoll character!

5. LEGO Friends Beach House with Seals (42699)

Price: $49.99

Release Date: January 1st 2026 (Available Now)

Ages: 7+

Pieces: 400

LEGO Minidolls: 3 (and 2 seals!)

With a middle-of-winter release date, you might have missed LEGO Friends Beach House with Seals (42699) but it deserves another look!

This charming build features a beach house with three beds (plus a hammock), an outdoor shower with privacy screen, and a porch with deck and seating. There's a smoothie maker in the kitchen, steps down to the sand, and a small beach base with waterfront.

A pair of friendly seals swim over to say hello, giving this set its name and helping to introduce young builders to aquatic life. Plenty more accessories, e.g. sunscreen, camera, binoculars, walkie talkies, kayak and life vest, all add to the potential for imaginative play.

6. LEGO Bluey Bluey's Beach & Family Car Trip (11202)

Price: $29.99

Release Date: June 1st 2025 (Available Now)

Ages: 4+

Pieces: 133

LEGO Minifigures: 3

LEGO Insiders Points: 195

Size: 8 x 11 x 5cm (H x L x W)

Another cute set for younger builders, LEGO Bluey Bluey's Beach & Family Car Trip (11202) launched last summer and is still a great addition to any LEGO beach display.

It's mainly a vehicle build, as you build Bluey's family car, complete with flip-open roof, roof rack with surfboards, and a cool box in the boot.

There are side scenes too, and these include a sandcastle, parasol, reclining chair, palm tree, and the option to 'bury' a LEGO Bluey Minifigure beneath a sand-built mermaid's tail.

Who will you bury in the beach? With LEGO Minifigures of Bluey, Bingo and Chilli to choose from, the family can each take a turn!
