First up is the impressive LEGO Harry Potter The Ministry of Magic - Collectors' Edition (76476), an Adults Welcome set with just under 3,500 pieces, including a cast of 14 LEGO Harry Potter Minifigures and a collectible 25th Anniversary Lynx Patronus.

This is the centrepiece of this year's LEGO Back to Hogwarts celebration, and a huge upgrade on the previous LEGO Harry Potter The Ministry of Magic (76403), which was little more than a gatehouse.

With nearly four times as many pieces, and nearly twice the height and width, the Ministry of Magic Collectors' Edition has answers in the places where the previous set was lacking.

A Wizarding World Beneath the Street

The new LEGO Harry Potter The Ministry of Magic - Collectors' Edition (76476) has much more verticality than the old set, with a street-level station scene, red telephone box, steps down into an underground restroom, and a functioning 'flush' mechanism to enter the Ministry via the staff entrance!

At the very bottom of the build, the Department of Mysteries depicts two important landmarks: the Death Chamber with a brick-built Veil, and the Hall of Prophecy with toppling shelves filled with prophecy orbs.

The Ministry itself has several interior scenes, including Arthur Weasley and Dolores Umbridge's offices, a courtroom scene for the disciplinary hearing, and the decisive duel between Dumbledore and Voldemort.

Fully assembled and supplied in a presentation box, the ornament is a metal telephone box like the one used to enter the Ministry of Magic.

It includes a lenticular image of Harry Potter. Slide the phone box vertically in the frame to view the image from a different angle, and Harry will vanish as if he's gone inside the Ministry.

The first buildable LEGO Harry Potter GWP for Back to Hogwarts 2026 is LEGO Harry Potter Dumbledore's Office with Harry Potter (30724), a 42-piece mini play set that comes with purchases of LEGO Harry Potter sets over $40 (a full list of eligible sets is available on the LEGO website).

It's a basic set but there's a surprising number of different elements to it, including Dumbledore's desk and chair, a LEGO Harry Potter Minifigure brandishing his wand, plus the young Fawkes, Sorting Hat, Pensieve and the Sword of Gryffindor.

Not much more to say about this one, but it does give you a few extra bits and bobs to use when creating a LEGO Harry Potter display or extending other sets with furniture and accessories.
