2026 LEGO Christmas Advent Calendars

1. LEGO Disney Princess Advent Calendar 2026 (43298)

Price: $44.99

Release Date: Available Now

Ages: 5+

Pieces: 290

LEGO Minifigures: 4x Microdolls and 4x animal characters

LEGO Insiders Points: 292

The first of the 'big three' is the LEGO Disney Princess Advent Calendar 2026 (43298) with just under 300 pieces in total and an age range of just 5 and up.

We love the overall look of this set once all the doors are opened. The LEGO Disney Princess Microdolls and their animal companions are extra cute, and all of the accessories and mini-builds are really pretty too.

Your cast of LEGO Disney Microdolls includes:

• Ariel
• Cinderella
• Moana
• Mulan

...with their animal sidekicks:

• Gus
• Mushu
• Pua
• Sebastian

Some of the tiny toys and accessories in this set include a piano, gingerbread castle, fireplace with wreath, Christmas presents, campfire with marshmallow, plus a micro Christmas tree, toy train, musical instruments, spinning dance floor and more.

The box doubles as a board game for up to eight players, so everyone can join in the Disney magic on Christmas Day!

2. LEGO Marvel Advent Calendar 2026 (76340)

Price: $44.99

Release Date: Available Now

Ages: 6+

Pieces: 317

LEGO Minifigures: 6

LEGO Insiders Points: 292

The LEGO Marvel Advent Calendar 2026 (76340) is a great way to get some festive-themed Minifigures ahead of December's release of Marvel's Avengers: Doomsday. In case you're trying to get some clues from the cast of characters, here are the six LEGO Marvel Minifigures you get this year:

• Captain America
• Dr. Doom
• Ghost-Spider
• Iron Man
• Spider-Man
• Wolverine

It's interesting to see the box art focuses on Dr. Doom, Wolverine and Spider-Man, while leaving out Cap and Iron Man. Have no fear - the original Avengers get plenty of references, including a Dr. Doom gift stall selling Iron Man toys, Tony Stark's gift-wrapping robot, a miniature version of Steve Rogers' plane, and an adorable Cap-themed snowman.

There's plenty of playability here with quite a few micro-scale vehicles, but the star of the show is the Christmas Wolverine Minifigure in his knitted X-Men logo sweater.

3. LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar 2026 (75456)

Price: $44.99

Release Date: Available Now

Ages: 6+

Pieces: 293

LEGO Minifigures: 4

LEGO Insiders Points: 292

We count four LEGO Star Wars Minifigures in this year's LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar 2026 (75456), but that's only half the story. As you move through the days, you'll discover:

• The Mandalorian
• Moff Gideon
• Carson Teva
• Jawa

There are also figures of Grogu and a Pit Droid, as well as IG-11, Blurrg, Mudhorn, Bantha and Dewback. Mini-build vehicles include a festive X-wing, Mando's N-1 Starfighter, a speeder bike, the Razor Crest, a Sandcrawler, an Imperial Light Cruiser and an Outland TIE Fighter.

Our favorite feature is Christmas sweater-related again - the Mandalorian Minifigure's sweater displays an image of Grogu, while Grogu's sweater shows Mando's helmet. So cute!

4. LEGO City Advent Calendar 2026 (60510)

Price: $34.99

Release Date: Available Now

Ages: 5+

Pieces: 252

LEGO Minifigures: 7

LEGO Insiders Points: 227

The LEGO City Advent Calendar 2026 (60510) is a collection of LEGO City mini-builds and Minifigures that builds to create a fun play set, with the box serving as the background of Santa's workshop.

We count seven LEGO City Minifigures in this year's advent calendar, along with a lovable reindeer fawn:

• Santa Claus
• Toymaker Santa Claus
• Mrs. Claus
• 3x Elves
• Snowman
• ...plus a cute baby reindeer figure

The two Santa Claus Minifigures show both sides of Santa: the master toymaker in his workshop, and the red-coated Christmas Eve courier riding off in his sleigh to deliver the gifts, pulled by the baby reindeer.

5. LEGO Friends Advent Calendar 2026 (42698)

Price: $34.99

Release Date: Available Now

Ages: 6+

Pieces: 211

LEGO Minifigures: 3x Minidolls and 6x mini animal figures

LEGO Insiders Points: 227

This is an awesome set for kids who collect this theme. The LEGO Friends Advent Calendar 2026 (42698) packs in three LEGO Friends Minidolls and six animals, along with a selection of frozen-looking scenery pieces perfect for the season.

The list of characters includes the Minidolls:

• Aliya
• Liann
• Nova

...and the animal figures:

• Bunny
• Penguin
• Polar bear
• Pony
• Seal
• Weasel

It's the icy-looking aesthetic that stands out overall, with lots of translucent blue and white pieces. Fold down the box to reveal a snowy background for activities including sleigh rides, snowball fights and snowman building.

Quick Questions

Finally, a few FAQs about LEGO Advent Calendars:

How many doors are on a LEGO Advent Calendar?

There are 24 doors on each LEGO Advent Calendar, taking you right up to Christmas Eve. There's no door for Christmas Day, but the whole box opens up to create a background for imaginative play and/or a playable board game.

Why are there so many pieces in a LEGO Advent Calendar?

Every LEGO Advent Calendar includes mini-builds, not just a single piece behind each door. This leads to a piece count of 200-300. This year's biggest set is the LEGO Marvel Advent Calendar 2026 (76340) with an impressive 317 pieces total!

Where are the LEGO Advent Calendar building instructions?

The building instructions for each mini-build are printed directly behind the door on the advent calendar itself. You can also download a PDF version from the LEGO website, in case you lose or damage the box.
