Accio BrickHeadz! Three New Harry Potter LEGO Sets Coming 1st June
QUIDDITCH STARS AND MAGICAL HEROES UNITE IN THREE COLOURFUL NEW BRICKHEADZ DUOS
The Harry Potter franchise is a relative newcomer to the LEGO Brickheadz range, though the two previous sets released gave us some Sirius-ly epic models to start our collections.
The Professors of Hogwarts 40560 release included Snape, McGonagall, Trelawny and Mad-Eye Moody in brick form, with plenty of quirky details, including Trelawny’s oversized glasses and the golden feathers on McGonagall’s witches’ hat. Similarly, the Harry, Hermione, Ron & Hagrid 40495 set gave us the distinctive Hagrid figure, in addition to an adorable main character trio from their first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, complete with uniforms and robes.
As discussed in our previous BrickHeadz blog, these sets tend to be good value for what you get. The Harry, Hermione, Ron & Hagrid set is still available on the LEGO website for $24.99, giving you four characters priced at just over $6 each. These brick figurines are also built to be displayed, fitting perfectly in small spaces such as a bookshelf or in-between files on a desk.
Now, LEGO has officially announced the arrival of three more Harry Potter BrickHeadz sets, scheduled for release on 1st June 2023.
There’s a lot to love in this new set, which presents Harry Potter and his love interest Cho Chang during their 3rd year at Hogwarts when they were quidditch seekers for Gryffindor and Ravenclaw.
This Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban replica manages to neatly capture the two magic-users’ hairstyles, from Harry’s messy mop to Cho’s straight, sleek flows. It is also nice to see them wearing stylish quidditch robes in the vivid red and blue of their house colours. Eagle-eyed collectors will also spot the Golden Snitch held by Harry and broomsticks in the hands of both characters.
This set is perfect for displaying in our Display Case for 2x LEGO Brickheadz, so make sure to purchase your case so you’re ready to showcase the new set.
Continuing the theme of Hogwarts quidditch teams, this set presents the smarmy Draco and heroic Cedric in their wizard sportswear, including the dark green of Slytherin and the yellow of Hufflepuff. In addition to a broomstick held in each character’s hands, Draco also clasps the house cup.
This set can be neatly combined with the previous one to form a row of characters dressed in the four Hogwarts house colours. Consider displaying them alongside each other in our Display Case for 4x LEGO Brickheadz to create the ultimate LEGO quidditch BrickHeadz exhibition piece.
There’s a distinctive splash of colour to these new sets, which is especially evident in Nymph’s bright purple hair and Kingsley’s rich blue robes and characteristic Nigerian-style cap.
This set recreates the duo’s appearance from Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix, where they first appeared as part of Dumbledore’s secret group.
Display this BrickHeadz entry in our 2-model display box, or consider showing them off alongside more models in our bespoke Display Case for 6x LEGO BrickHeadz.
